Alert: Premier Medical Group Covid Testing.
Parents/Staff may have received a text message of covid test results claiming the test is for today. This data was being updated from previous testing and was communicated again by mistake. PMG apologizes for the confusing message and is working to correct this. If you or child did not test with PMG today then disregard the message from today. If you have any questions please contact Jason Ihde or Rhianna Culican, RN for more information.
This week celebrate National School Counseling Week by highlighting and saying thanks to some of the best. Our school counselors do an amazing job supporting our students and the social and emotional needs and they a big part of the team supporting students academic needs as well. The last two years have been a challenge for all of our students, but it has been particularly challenging for some of our younger students. Now more than ever we are seeing a lot of social and emotional needs in our elementary students. This year the district created a couple new opportunities for elementary counselors and we are happy to have Ms. Bloomdahl join our team at Lincoln Elementary. We appreciate the work she is doing there to make ALL the Lincoln Lions feel like they belong. Thank you Ms. Bloomdahl!!
Community Based testing at Hoquiam High School has been cancelled for tonight due to staffing shortages with our community testing partner PMG. We will update Friday if there are any changes.
Hoquiam School District has partnered with Premier Medical Group and is offering Covid testing at HHS Gym TODAY from 10:30am-12:00pm. Testing is free and requires a registered account with PMG. This site is open to any one needing to be tested and not just students. Children under 18 will need to have a parent/guardian present to complete registration. If you are already registered with PMG there is no need to register again. For the latest information on the newest variant of Covid check out the Grays Harbor Public Health website www.healthygh.org

Online purchases have been extended until November 8th. Each school receives a small profit from each purchase that goes directly to a school account to help offset future expenses for school needed supplies. Don't forget to join us for our Halloween Parade tomorrow, 10/29 at 2:10-2:40pm. Please park in the HHS Lower parking lot before 2:10pm. Be ready to take pictures and enjoy seeing our amazing students and their fun costumes! An alternative activity is available to students who do not wish to participate in this event.
We are looking for qualified adults who want to work with students to uplift and enrich their school experience. If you are interested, our district will be having a job fair at the HMS gym on Oct. 20th.
