Ms. Peters is a 34 year veteran music educator. She has experience in both band and choir pedagogy. She received both her Undergraduate Degree and her Master's in Music Education at Eastern Washington University. She is a recognized clinician in Marching, Concert and Jazz Genres. This is the 10th year Ms. Peters has been Director of Band & Choir at Hoquiam H.S.

Brenda McCoy is an integral part of the music department. She assists with both Middle School and High School Band and also with H.S. Choir. She is also our H.S. Marching Band Colorguard Instructor. She has been with the Hoquiam School District for the past 20 years. Her roll in our program is to help supervise students, help with repair of instruments, book-keeping and organizational work, fundraiser tracking, and so much more....
