HMS Volleyball: The Wednesday matches for 7th JV and 8th JV vs. Oakland Bay have been cancelled. Oakland Bay couldn't get transportation. These will not be rescheduled.

HMS Volleyball: Also the Week at a Glance shows the JV2 Volleyball match at Montesano. That is also an error, the match is HOME today at 4:00. Again, apologies...not one of my better efforts.
HMS Families: Week at a Glance for 3/25-3/29: Conferences next week, a FULL week of sports (with some changes so look for your teams) and early releases on Tuesday-Friday. HMS Families-Clarifications on this week's Sports Schedules: There is no Soccer match tonight, it was pushed to March 26. There IS 7th and 8th JV Volleyball @ Miller for Tuesday March 19. 7th JV will play at 4:00, 8th JV at 5:15.
HMS Families: Week at a Glance for next week. Reminder that Friday, March 22 is a half day, school will be excused at 11:20 (I know the Week at a Glance says 11:15, it was a mistake). Have a good weekend.
HMS Families: Attached are the updated Middle School Volleyball and Soccer schedules. Special thank you to Mr. Krohn who has done a lot of work getting these changes finalized as quickly as he has! We apologize for the inconvenience of having to change dates for some teams. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.
HMS Soccer Families--Due to field availability (yes, field availability) our matches on March 18 vs. Elma, and March 20 vs. Oakland Bay are going to be rescheduled. Will let you all know when we hear when.
HMS Volleyball and Soccer Families: We are going to have to reschedule a number of events coming up due to lack of bus drivers to haul our teams around. The following events will be rescheduled and we will have an updated schedule available as soon as that happens: *Monday, March 18-JV 2 VB @ Bush--Tuesday, March 19-our VB teams going to Elma and Bush will ride the same bus--Thursday, March 21-7/8 JV VB @ Tenino and JV3 VB @ Elma--Monday, March 25--Soccer @ Miller, and JV3 @ Miller. Again, once we have these rescheduled or resolved we will let you know.
Week at a Glance for March 11-15. Set your clocks forward an hour on Sunday, No School on Monday, and Volleyball, Soccer, and Band and Choir Concert on tap. Enjoy your weekend!

HMS Families: Please put Thursday, March 14 on your calendars. HMS Band and Choir are putting on their Spring Concert with a Western theme! That is is Thursday, March 14, beginning at 7:00 at the 7th Street Theater!
HMS Families: Week at a Glance for March 4-8. After putting in the sports schedule, we are renaming March "Volleyball"...there are multiple...and I mean MULTIPLE opportunities to get your Volleyball fix this month at the HMS Gym. Soccer opens its season with back to back home dates on Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday we celebrate our scholars in homeroom! Have a great weekend!

The Soccer match scheduled for today has been cancelled due to snowy roads in Shelton.
Reminder to HMS Families: There is a family math fun night this Thursday at Lincoln School. It runs from 5:30-7:00 and includes food, some math related games that can be played at home, and a "Guess the amount of candy in the jar" with the jar and candy as a prize.
HMS Week at a Glance: Week of February 26-March 1: Reminder there is NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, February 25 as it is a professional development day for Hoquiam School District staff. Sports kicks off on Thursday and Friday with our JV Volleyball teams and Soccer team in action. Thursday is our Math Fun Night at Lincoln Elementary--we encourage students and families to attend for some free food, and some fun math games.
