The soccer match scheduled for Thursday, March 2 at Oakland MS has been moved to Tuesday, March 7. Match times will be 4:00 for both varsity and JV at Oakland Bay.

HMS Wrestlers, Wrestling fans, or Those Who Want To See Something Really Cool: The Pacific NW College Championships will be held at the HHS gym. Teams include: Grays Harbor College, Washington State University, Western Washington University, University of Washington, Pacific Lutheran University, Treasure Valley CC, Big Ben CC, University of British Columbia and University of Oregon. Wrestling begins at 1000 AM and will be over at around 3 PM. Prices: Adults $10,, Students $7 and 5 years and younger are free.
My Town Coalition is hosting a UNO tournament for Hoquiam Middle School students on Friday February 24, from 6 pm- 8pm at the Immanuel Baptist Church. They will provide Refreshments and Snacks. Brush off those card skills!

The Missoula Children's Theater will be having auditions for "King Arthur's Quest" on Tuesday February 21 from 3:15pm-5:15 pm at Central Elementary School. If a child is chosen for the play, they ask that a parent or guardian be available for a mandatory short parent meeting at 5:30 on Tuesday, February 21 following the auditions. Students will have rehearsals from 3:15 pm to 7:30 pm Tuesday-Friday of that week and will need to be available for performances Saturday. We have permission slips in the office which need to be signed prior to the audition.

HMS Valentine's Dance Update: Due to the HS District basketball game on Friday we are adjusting the time of the dance so that students who want to attend the game can do both. The dance will now start at 8:00 pm, and end at 10:00 pm. We ask that student's rides be at the school at 10:00. Thank you!

HMS Week at a Glance for February 6-10. We have a busy week! WIDA Testing Monday and Tuesday, All Basketball teams in action Monday and Wednesday With varsity also having Games on Tuesday and Thursday. A Game for the 7th JV is finalizing for Thursday as well. Thursday evening, we have our HMS Literacy support night from 6-7, and a dance on Friday from 7-9 pm to cap it all off.
