Chris is a retired Engineering Group Supervisor who is very interested in all the Hoquiam School District programs related to STEM. As a Grizzly alumni and and former band/choir/drama participant, Chris has a passion for the arts and is proud of our arts programs. He also champions Hoquiam School District's other academic, leadership, and sports programs, as he knows they are all part of a well-rounded education. Chris is grateful for his opportunity to prepare our students for personal lifetime fulfillment and success while ensuring a peaceful yet exciting future for all of us. This holiday season, Mr. Chávez's Spanish 2 students partnered with Blair Jones, Executive Director of Amer Empowerment Resilience, to spread some holiday cheer!
